Taking a dip in the porcelain pools.

Duration: 7 to 8 hrs.
Difficulty: Medium-High.
Capacity: A minimum of 4 and maximum of 6 participants.
Timetable: Departure 08:00 hrs; Return 18:00 hrs.
Meeting point: Lahuán Cabinor Hornopirén Ramp (Place to be agreed).
What to take: Trekking shoes, water bottle, sunglasses, sunblock, sunhat, suitable clothing, camera. Please stay on the marked trail and follow the guide’s safety instructions.
Includes: Local guide, traditional lunch, snack and transport.

This fantastic circuit begins at Río Negro, Hornopirén at the Lahuán cabins, where the guide and participants will meet, and after a short presentation and safety instructions the “Taking a dip in the Porcelain Pools” program will begin. Our adventurers will be ferried on the “Explorer” for about 40 minutes along the Comao fiord, and while the launch goes further into the sea we’ll see amazing specimens of the flora and fauna that is an essential part of this one-of-a kind natural environment, where sea and land open up to reveal the idyllic landscapes of Chilean Patagonia.

We reach the Porcelain Springs and walk along the beach that takes us to a spectacular spot where we will take a dip in the pool’s warm water, absorbing its healing properties anditsunique tranquility, as we admire the first range of the Andes: where people and Mother Naturecome together. We will also be able stop to admire the views and take photos of the emerald green water, thermal waterfalls and snow along the way, in places still untouched by human beings. To end the program, we’llenjoy a country lunch prepared by settlers and locals, and participate in their activities for about an hour and a half. On our way back we go through Huinay town, drop in at fish farms, and see the sea lion colony.
